McCall Winter Carnival Craft Faire
While in McCall for the Winter Carnival festivities remember to stop by the Holiday Inn also known as the Hunt Lodge for the annual Craft Fair and Chocolate event I will be there along with some of my newest art work so please stop by and say hello.
*Event Preview: One of the centerpiece attractions at Winter Carnival each year is the snow sculptures. For 2012, spectators can expect to see a combination of both snow and non-snow sculptures! The McCall Area Chamber of Commerce is encouraging businesses and groups interested in building a sculpture to get creative! With a few more inches of snow, trucking snow to sculpture sites becomes a possibility. In addition, we are hoping to see a wide variety of sculptures. Get out the plywood, recycled cans, metal, plastic, chicken wire, and anything else you can dream up to create a “non-snow” work of art! All non-snow sculptures will be included on the official sculpture map and judging categories will be revised accordingly! What a great opportunity for our community to pull together and create a unique experience never before seen at Winter Carnival!*
