This grand example of nature appears here in the valley every fall and stays until late spring. I have seen this eagle now for several years and he always return to the same tree to roost during the day. It was as if this bald eagle was just begging some one to capture his magnificent beauty and this was my attempt to do just that.
It is hard to relay the size of this great bird of prey without some type of reference object, but I can tell you that when he is in flight his wing span is well over six feet he is truly a wonder of nature to behold. |
