The drawing of Two friends Fishing took over 30 hours to complete using Dry Pastels along with some compressed charcoal.
Some times fishing is just more then catching fish. As this young boy and girl sit along side a pond waiting on a fish to swim by lasting friendships are formed. These two children have found that having a fishing companion adds to the relaxation of time spent on the water. A child’s love of the outdoors seems to only be enhanced by the enjoyment and perhaps even the love they have. Yes who is to say that a child’s love is any less important then a grown adults may be. What ever the case they sure look relaxed as they sit by the water with their fishing companion.
While this is my first attempt at colored pastels I feel it came out pretty well Please leave a comment and let me know it you like where I am going with this.
