Cougar Drawing in Tree Imposed into Photo
This charcoal drawing of a cougar in tree also called a Mountain Lion as he peers out from a tree branch was overlaid onto a photograph of the mountain range near where he was found roaming I captures him on film many summers ago I think it was I 1976 or 77.
While I was able to get a decent photo of the cougar the back ground was less then what I had hoped for. But when photographing wildlife I take what I can get and hope it works out.
The location is in central Idaho just east of McCall along a road known as Lick Creek Summit. Growing up in McCall allowed me to spend many days roaming the country and I have many memories as I explored the region I even once saw a grizzly bear up in this area that was amazing and a very rare site for this location.
