The charcoal drawing of a rainbow trout taking a fly took over 30 hours to complete using willow charcoal along with compressed charcoal. I tried to capture that special moment of a trout striking a fly. While in real life this happens so fast that you can not see the beauty of it all I tried to depict what that moments would look like if you could freeze time just as the trout heads down with the fly.
